Here’s my submission for Monster Mash 2007 over at Penelope Illustration. Illustration Friday’s “trick or treat” topic, too.
For clarification, the weremoose just finished a tasty peanut butter and strawberry jelly sandwich. It’s hard to eat a sandwich with your hooves!

Wow! What a cool design. I lived in Alaska for 15 years, and the Moose roamed the streets of Anchorage. This illo hits home because I was sooooooooo afraid of Moose. Ran into one while cross country skiing and nearly peed my snow pants. Great design!

I’m glad you clarified that. My first thought was “eeww.” haha. Love the expression on the hunter’s face. Fantastic shading and mood.
