Some strange dream I had last night. This weird creature floated up to me in the middle of the street, at night, and kept repeating the word, “ocelot.”
Interpretation, anyone?

Well, considering that the ocelot comes from South and Central America you probably just misunderstood him because of his accent. I’m pretty sure he was trying to say, “cross the spot”, a reference to the manhole cover you were most likely standing on, in the shape of a spot. His wings could only be considered as your wish for flight to ease your passage over the spot considering that falling into a manhole would be nasty affair, quite painful. The street and manhole are tangible symbols of your journey and the dangers you face falling into holes full of…well…dung. I think should you have this dream again, and catch that frisky flying feline, you will find when you awake that answers to your questions come more easily.

Hope that helps!
Are you sure the creature didn’t say “You sit on your ass a lot?” Maybe inner-Eric is telling you something. Ha!
Between the two of you, I think I’m all set on interpretations.
*Grumble* Last time I make THAT stupid request.
I will refrain from true interpretation as this is a family channel and I would only get myself, and young Glimbit, into trouble.
I think the point was for you to draw this cool illustration.
Besides, better to ocelot, than oce-not-enough!
