Pencil touches paper, devils are sketched

sketches of devils

random sketches on a Sunday afternoon. 1/13/08

Inspired partly by drawing “Kid Devil” in some pages recently and partly by Dan H’s shared Google Reader item, Diabolical Illuminations.

Hmm. Yes. Mmm hmm. yes, yes YES. No. Maybe. An idea is brewing! More as this develops.

Shiver…I think some of those ancient illuminations are ten times more scary than anything around nowadays! Very creepy, no wonder the church had the common peasant was scared out of his wits. One glance at any of those pics was enough to creep anyone out!

This makes me think of Xem(n)u. [if I spell it that way, maybe the scientolopolists {sp} won’t sue me, or YOU since it is on your website!]

Can you draw that fantastical creature, or do you get sued for doing that, like naming your teddy bear after another certain religious found?

All these irreverant words coming from a proclaimed student of religious history. You go to your room now and get back to studying, Mister!
