Secrets of Morocco Illustrations

Yee-haw! I have several pen and ink illustrations in the “Secrets of Morocco” sourcebook for the “Call of Cthulhu” rpg. Here are a few:

The Singing Spire

One Way Trip

Morocco Map

Nice work my friend! Very cool. Must be rewarding to see your stuff in print!

This book was definitely rewarding to work on, and yes, seeing it in front of me feels great, though I have to silence that critical voice in my head that says, “you could have done this better.”

That’s great! It would be fun to write a story based on one of your illustrations. That was one of the things I loved about the old 1E Dungeon Master’s Guide–it had lots of illustrations that fired your imagination. The new 4E DMG looks more like an owner’s manual for a Toyota–there are whole pages of text with no images at all. It’s all rules; no flavor.

“Oh look, there’s a guy standing and smirking.”

I like the old style of illustrations that pique one’s interest in the story.

Hey, if you write anything about one of these, let me know!

I remember how nice it was to have my first story published, even if it was just a rinky dink little college humor newspaper. This here is the big leagues!

Most impressive, Agent Smith. Most impressive, indeed!

Thanks, Ed. You’ll be published again! *fingers to temples* I can sense it.
